The shade can look surprisingly dark, so I was cautious at first. Once blended, though, it becomes much softer and sheerer than expected. I like using a small amount and tapping it onto my cheeks until the color looks effortless.

If you want pigment, this one does NOT play around. Honestly, it might be the most pigmented blush formula I have ever tried. One tiny dip of my brush is usually enough for both cheeks. I have dry skin, and the brand doesn't really position it as the best option for dry skin, so I was a little nervous. For me, applying it lightly with a sponge makes a big difference. The color looks much softer and easier to control that way.
